TOURNAMENT RULES
Averages: Entrants will use their HIGHEST CURRENT AVERAGE of at least 21 games (as of 01/01/12). If that does not exist, entrants can use their HIGHEST AVERAGE from 2010-2011 season, as recorded on bowl.com. Entrants MUST bring average verification with them to the tournament. Bowlers with neither of the above averages must bowl with a 220 average.
Scholarship Awards: Scholarships will be awarded at a ratio of at least one for each 10 entries in each division. The 1st & 2nd place dollar amounts of the scholarship are guaranteed (minimum of 8 teams); additional scholarships will be based on the number of entries in each division. 100% of all collected scholarship funds will be awarded and sent to the USBC SMART Program for management and dispersal. Donations to the Greater Orlando USBC Youth Association will be added to their general fund for association expenses.
General Rules: Entrants must hold a valid USBC-Youth membership card. Non-USBC-Youth members can participate by paying a participation fee of $2.00. No hats or headgear can be worn. Abuse of equipment, foul or disruptive language, gestures, and/or unprofessional behavior by bowlers or spectators are cause for the non-refundable dismissal from participation at this tournament. Only participating bowlers and tournament officials are permitted in the bowling area. The Tournament Manager has the right to refuse any entry. The bowler, by voluntary participation in the event, agrees to the final authority of the Tournament Manager to interpret and enforce all rules, regulations, and procedures. Any unforeseen or not described situation(s) will be regulated by USBC-Youth rules. If there is a tie, a two-frame roll-off of all tied competitors will break the tie.
