TOURNAMENT RULES
ELIGIBILITY: OPEN TO ALL BOWLERS.
EVENTS: Scratch Singles Event (Min. 10 Bowlers to run Event).
ENTERING AVERAGE: It is Scratch, so it don't matter.
CODE OF CONDUCT:
We are here to bowl not to act out. Show respect to the fellow bowlers or you will be asked to leave.
(If you are asked to leave, you will not be permitted to bowl any future tournaments).
ENTRY FEE: Entry fee is $30.00.
Scratch Event $30.00 Prize = Fund $20.00 + Bowling lineage $9.00 + Expense $1.00.
Prize Fund returned 100%
REFUNDS: There will be no refund for individuals once practice begins.
PRIZE FUND DISTRIBUTION:
1-25 Bowlers - prize fund will be distributed 1:5 Ratio
26+ Bowlers - prize fund will be distributed 1:8 Ratio
OFFICIAL SCORE: The computer printout or telescore will be the official score.
Any rules not covered shall be governed by Tournament Director and will be final.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
1. Bowlers will bowl 5 games across 5 pair moving one pair to the right after each game .
2. Total score (total pinfall) of the 5 games determine advancement to Finals.
3. If there is a tie for the final spot to advance - ball for ball will occur (bowler with highest game chooses lanes and who goes first).
4. If there is a tie for 1-4th spots, highest game bowled determines Seeding.
Finals:
1. Will be bowled on the separate lanes if available, otherwise #1 seed chooses championship lanes.
2. Elimination Finals are based on number of Entries to determine number of bowlers to advance:
10-12 Entries = 2 Bowlers bowl for Championship.
13-17 Entries = 3 Bowlers bowl for Championship.
18-22 Entries = 4 Bowlers bowl for Championship.
23+ Entries = 5 8 Bowlers bowl for Championship.
3. Bracket format will be used.
If there is a tie a sudden death (ball for ball) roll-off will occur.
